Our Solar Projects
KT Wash
KT Wash, based in Nigel, South Africa is a detergent manufacturer with international standards of excellence and has been a major market player for over 10 years. KT Wash has a tower capacity of 8 000 tons per month, with state-of-the-art packaging facilities.
As electricity consumption is a main operating expense for their organisation, they explored the different possibilities through which to find a more sustainable energy supply while able to reduce their carbon footprint.
The solution they adopted was a 458KWp solar system which has done both – increase their energy sustainability and reduced their carbon footprint by 652 tonnes per year
Naledi Ringrollers
Naledi Ringrollers is internationally renowned as a global leader in the manufacture of seamless forged and rolled products for the Rail, Petrochemical, Civil Engineering, Power generation, medium to heavy engineering industries and is one of the largest forging companies in the southern hemisphere.
With ever-increasing prices in electricity and uncertain supply, they approached the challenge with an open mind, by exploring the security of supply solutions, while yet looking to reduce their operational expenditure. STI Energy offered a solution that met both of those criteria.
Naledi Ringrollers has adopted our Power Purchase Agreement offering by successfully Installing a Solar system to the size of 792KWp and saving just shy of 1000 tonnes of CO2.
